The inspiration behind BlAsian Scrunchies & Co. came about when I started binge watching a well-known scrunchie business' Youtube videos in 2021. My husband asked me one day, "Why don't you make scrunchies too?" I laughed at the idea because I had ZERO experience with a sewing machine. 

After a day or two of thinking, I told my husband, "I'll do it. But first, I need to figure out how to sew scrunchies!" Thanks to a few Youtube videos and two weeks of trial and error, I was finally able to successfully sew a scrunchie. Naming the business was another hurdle to cross; but not to worry, my husband came to the rescue.
BlAsian Scrunchies was the first and only name he suggested. I did not question the reason behind the name because it was pretty obvious - I have mixed African and Asian ancestry. The name was perfect!

The goal for BlAsian Scrunchies & Co., is to become a household name for ladies and girls all around the world with any hair type. Please join us on this journey as we aim to make this happen!
